Meet Dr. Christine Dregalla

It has been my pleasure to have practiced dentistry since 2006. As a child, I spent a lot of time at the orthodontist, which is what started my interest in dentistry. I knew from an early age I wanted to help people, and I made it my goal to do that through the dental field.

I truly enjoy my profession; interacting with all ages of people from all walks of life makes each day a new experience. Helping people live healthier lives, prevent disease, and obtain beautiful smiles inspires me and makes me excited to go to work each morning.

Education and Continuing Education

  • Bachelor of Science in mathematics – University of Nebraska-Lincoln
  • Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Dentistry

As a member of the Sioux City Dental Society, I regularly attend meetings during which we review complicated cases and discuss multidisciplinary approaches to resolve them. I also enjoy taking other CE classes throughout the year, typically through the American Dental Association or the Nebraska Dental Association. By staying up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry, I can offer the most effective and clinically proven treatments, which benefits my patients immeasurably.

Family and Community

A Nebraska native, I grew up in the small town of Gordon. My husband Matt and I moved to Pender after graduating from dental school, and we have lived here ever since! Matt is the instrumental music teacher in Pender Public Schools. We have two boys, Marcus and Colby, and two cats, all of which keep us on our toes! When I am not working, I like to spend time with my family, cheer on the Huskers, travel, eat at new restaurants, and attend band concerts.

Along with the Dregalla Family Dentistry team, I enjoy supporting our area schools in any way possible. We enjoy giving presentations to the preschool and elementary students about the importance of oral health, and always look forward to participating in our communities’ health fairs.
